Princess Cake
A beautiful princess cake for a little princess turning two. Pictures of the birthday girl and Disney Princesses are used to make this special cake.
For my daughter's 2nd birthday, we had a princess party. For the cake, I made two square cakes and one round cake, all made from store bought mix, and store bought cream cheese Icing. You can use any flavor/color you like for this.
I put the cakes on a big piece of cardboard covered with foil. The round one was in the center, and it had a picture of our little princess that we had printed from the computer and laminated, to protect from moisture, placed in the center of the cake.
On the two square side cakes, we did the same thing with pictures of princesses- printed, laminated, and placed on the cakes, at the corners. Icing was piped all around these pictures and on the sides of the cake, as well. In the corners opposite the princess print outs we created flowers from icing and pre-made candy hearts.
On either side of the picture of my daughter, we placed pink sparkly candles. We sprinkled red sugar crystals lightly across the finished product.
I received many compliments on this cake, and it was so much fun to make!
