Popcorn Cupcakes

Okay so it's not really popcorn- but it looks just like it- and it tastes YUMMY! This was made for a carnival themed birthday party for my 7 year old son.

Ingredients:
Cake Mix - any flavor you like
Vanilla Frosting
Mini Marshmallows
Yellow food coloring


Make your cupcakes, cool and frost. 1 bag of mini marshmallows will allow for almost 2 dozen cupcakes. You need to cut all the marshmallows in half. Pour the yellow food coloring into a bowl. Use a small kids paint brush, dip the marshmallows into the food coloring - brush the coloring around, pile a bunch on top of each cupcake to make it look like a box of popcorn. I purchased the red/white striped cupcake holders online to give it the real popcorn box effect. All the kids and adults LOVED these.
